2026 Luncheon Highlights
The Chamber’s Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon was a meaningful celebration of the nonprofit organizations, leaders and volunteers who make such an extraordinary difference in The Woodlands area. With this year’s “Mahalo for All You Do” theme, the event brought the community together to recognize the heart of service that strengthens our region every day. The luncheon was a joyful and sincere expression of gratitude for the organizations whose compassion, commitment and impact help make The Woodlands area such a special place to live, work and serve.
Keynote speaker Damon West delivered a powerful narrative that left a lasting impression. His message to be the coffee bean in boiling water – positively changing people and environments in the middle of difficult circumstances - was especially fitting in a room filled with nonprofit leaders and volunteers whose daily work transforms lives. The luncheon served as both a well-deserved recognition of service and an encouraging reminder of the profound impact one person or organization can have on a community.
