Business Advocacy Council Meeting
Every two years, the Texas Legislature convenes for a 140-day regular legislative session. As a strong advocate for business interests at both the local and state level, The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce has an integrated approach to developing our public policy positions and then proactively advocating.
We invite all Chamber members to join us at the March Business Advocacy Council meeting to help identify priorities for the 87th Texas Legislature beginning January 12, 2021, and concluding on May 31, 2021.
ABOUT THE BUSINESS ADVOCACY COUNCIL
The Business Advocacy Council is a group of volunteer Chamber members responsible for monitoring government actions and debate at the local, county, state and federal levels. The Business Advocacy Council also reviews legislative action and when necessary, recommends action to the Chamber Board of Directors. Only the Board of Directors can decide whether the Chamber will take a formal position on issues of public policy.
