The Server Assistant is responsible for cleaning, setting, and maintenance of tables and delivering food to guest tables while providing a fun, clean, and safe atmosphere according to standards and expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent. One year high volume restaurant experience preferred. Pleasant personality. Excellent communication skills.
Provide friendly and courteous service to all guests. Clear and clean tables, chairs, and floors as needed. Reset tables per standards. Run and deliver food from the kitchen to the guest tables. Provide and replenish water throughout the meal to the guest. Complete opening and closing side work. Maintain adequate supply of ice in service stations and ice bins. Provide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the restaurant. Keep work area neat and clean. Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.
1. Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
2. Help out in other areas of the restaurant as needed.
Indoors, climate controlled environment. Hard kitchen floors with occasional slippery
greasy areas. Outdoors, with exposure to outdoor climate and elements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (as required by OSHA and ADA – US only):
- Requires constant standing, walking, and balancing
- Requires frequent bending, reaching, and lifting/carrying of up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting/carrying of up to 50 lbs.
- Requires constant manual dexterity, gross motor skills, vision, and hearing
Compensation is $8.25 plus tips.
