The Freeman Foundation for Neurological Disease Research is proud to announce that one of their main fundraising events, Birdies Fore Parkinson's Research will be awarding a champion for the lowest score of an all women's team. We expect to have multiple teams of women, who will also compete for the overall championship, and the coveted Orange Jacket, the symbol of BFPR's champions. "I think we are the only tournament of this kind that will be awarding an overall women's champion, in addition to the men's and mixed teams," said Tim Freeman, Chairman of FFNDR. This year's tournament is October 21 at the Willow Creek Golf Club in Spring, TX. The field will be limited to the first 144 players. If you are a team of 1,2, or 3 players, don''t worry, we'll make teams. "The goals are to raise monies for much needed research, learn more about Parkinson's disease, and have a ton of fun! I know I will be, as I best player after player in a closest to the pin contest on the Par 3 number 3," says Freeman.
