The Montgomery County Council of Chambers met with Sen. Brandon Creighton (District 4), Rep. Will Metcalf (District 16) and Rep. Cecil Bell (District 3) Friday, Sept. 14 to discuss the council's 2019 legislative priorities.
As the voice of business for Montgomery County, the council of chambers included education, transportation, flood mitigation and health care as their top four priorities for the upcoming legislative session.
Representatives from every chamber discussed the importance of each priority and the impact that they have on businesses while receiving an update on what to expect this upcoming session.
The Montgomery County Council of Chambers includes The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce, Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce, Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce, Greater Magnolia Parkway
Chamber of Commerce, East Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, Greater East Montgomery Chamber of Commerce and Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber.
