About Us
We preserve land along streams for flood control, clean water, and wildlife. Since 1996 we have worked with landowners to voluntarily preserve their iconic Texas landscapes. We preserve 14,000 acres at 60 preserves in the Houston region. Bayou Land Conservancy is the non-profit partner for the Spring Creek Greenway, the longest, connected urban, forested greenway in the country.
