Our client in Northwest Houston is looking for an enthusiastic, Marketing Coordinator to support the Sales Manager and Product Development professionals with various tasks.
The primary focus of the Marketing Coordinator will be to provide support on projects designed to maximize company profits, including the development of sales strategies and marketing campaigns.
The ideal candidate for our Marketing Coordinator position is open to feedback, confident and calm under pressure, and self-motivated to complete tasks on a deadline with little supervision. Marketing Coordinator responsibilities includes, but not limited to, assisting in organizing campaigns and developing marketing strategies. The Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Owner and Operations Manager and will be responsible for taking on a variety of tasks that allow for the successful completion of planned marketing programs. The successful candidate will assist in the development of marketing collateral, track existing marketing campaigns and report on results and coordinate market research studies.
•Assist with sales presentations by gathering relevant resources including proposals, slide decks, videos, quotations, and other information as requested.
•Writing marketing literature (brochures, press releases, etc.) to augment the company’s presence in the market.
•Conducting pricing market research and analyzing trends.
•Social media maintenance. Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts.
•Update spreadsheets and databases with statistical, customers and competitor’s information.
•Assist in monitoring active marketing programs and developing ways to improve those campaigns.
•Attend annual / bi-annual tradeshows, assist in developing plan on how the company will present itself, work with purchasing on any vendor contribution, work with product development and sales manager on products to present
•Proven experience as a marketing coordinator, with experience managing at least 1 other position
•Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
•Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines
•Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
•Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
•Assist with promotional activities; host presentations, organize customer events.
•Assemble and present reports that collect and analyze market research data by consolidating, summarizing, and formatting information into formats that optimize readability
•Excellent knowledge of MS Office 365, especially MS Excel, graphics and page layout software and business accounting and customer database programs; example: Intuit QuickBooks, ACT CRM, Adobe XYZ (?), Google analytics, Google AdWords, etc.
•Strong Communication and people skills
•High School diploma; BSc in Marketing, Business or relevant field is a strong advantage
