    Our client in North Houston is looking for a dedicated Administrative Accounting Assistant!

     

    REQUIREMENTS:
    •2+ years of hands on administrative support experience
    •AR/AP billing, receiving payments, collections
    •Be able to stand for long periods of time (filing)
    •Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook a must
    •Quickbooks experience a plus
    •Knowledge of operating standard office equipment
    •Strong communication skills
    •Highly organized

     

    Must be familiar with the following programs:
    •QuickBooks Enterprise 18.0 or similar
    •Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher)

     

    JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
    •Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying to management
    •Creating invoices from sales orders, billing customers
    •Receiving in payments, input into accounting software, create deposit slips
    •Collection calls to customers
    •Maintain heavy hard copy filing system
    •Perform data entry and scan documents
    •Assist in resolving any administrative problems
    •Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
    •Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
    •Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
    •Provide general support to visitors

     

    This is a Temp to Hire Position

    $14 – $15 per hour

    Monday thru Friday 8am – 5pm

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $14.00 to $15.00 /hour
