Fish, Hike and Hoot at Grand Central Park Oct. 20

Grab fishing poles and hiking boots because Grand Central Park is inviting the public to Fish, Hike & Hoot, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at The Lake House, 715 Camp Strake Road. Visitors will be able to fish on Deer Lake and tread the Conroe community’s resident-only hiking trails. Pavilions at the Lake House and Deer Lake will be available for picnicking. Guests must bring their own rods and reels, but trail maps will be provided. Eleven model homes will be open for touring. The event is free.
