Cathy Brown Bio
Cathy Brown is the owner and founder of Incrementum Marketing - a marketing research firm. Incrementum, the Latin word for growth, brings the fundamentals of consumer feedback to your business, providing information you need to grow.
Cathy began her career in the industry with the NPD Group performing marketing research for only one client, the Procter & Gamble company. This included measuring consumer behavior in the consumer package goods industry for products such as: Charmin toilet paper, Bounty paper towels, Iams pet food...and many other household products. More specifically this type of work included concept testing (advertising), product placement, brand equity, consumer segmentation and international research.
After leaving the NPD Group, Cathy moved into measuring consumer feedback in the services industry for large restaurant and retail chains - such as Build-A-Bear Workshop and Jenny Craig. This included measuring all components of the customer's experience such as: Will your customers recommend you to a friend, or will they come back? How important is it that the bathrooms in your store are clean? What about your staff? Do your customers like them or trust them? Does your customer believe you? Do they think you're professional, knowledgeable?
Additionally, Cathy also spent time in the telecommunications industry working for Sprint at their world headquarters in Kansas City, analyzing market data for contract negotiations for Sprint's large wholesale partners.
Most recently, Cathy started Incrementum Marketing in the Woodlands Texas. Incrementum is focused on bridging the gap between businesses and their customers. Incrementum provides services for companies of all shapes and sizes.
