12th ANNUAL EMPTY BOWLS

Saturday, February 25, 2017 12th ANNUAL EMPTY BOWLS The John Cooper School Student Center • 10:30 am to 2 pm $10 per person The John Cooper School National Art Honor Society (NAHS) and Cooper Art Society (CAS) students will continue the tradition of raising funds to help fight hunger in our community by sponsoring the 12th Annual Empty Bowls event on Saturday, February 25. The 2017 Empty Bowls will be held in Cooper's Student Center from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The public is invited to this annual event that has helped raise over $75,000 for hunger relief in our community over the past 11 years. A simple meal of soup and water will be and as part of admission, guests can select a handmade bowl to take home. A silent auction of bowls and related art is also part of the fundraiser to help fight hunger.   More information is posted on the Cooper website at www.johncooper.org.
