As Chairman of the Board of the South Montgomery County/Woodlands Chamber of Commerce I would like to welcome you to our web site. I have been privileged to be a member of this Chamber for many years now and it is a tremendous honor to now serve as its Chairman of the Board. This Chamber has not only helped me personally succeed in my business, but it has given me the opportunity to establish many friendships with others in our community. As new members join our Chamber, I stress to them the importance of being involved. Attending networking and fundraising events, as well as working on event teams or committees is where you will see the benefits. When you join, The Chamber will give you the tools, but you must be the carpenter, in order to really prosper from your membership. The Chamber plays a key role in the growth and prosperity of our community. One of the areas where the Chamber has had a huge impact in our community is assisting with the growth and development of entities such as Montgomery College and the University Center, The Woodlands Mall, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Lone Star Executive Airport, Conroe Independent School District, The Woodlands Community Associations, The Woodlands Township, Interfaith, YMCA, Market Street, and many more. The Chamber has also been instrumental in the economic development of our area by recruiting large companies to locate their home offices here. The staff at the Chamber is one of our best assets and excels under the leadership of our President Karen Hoylman. They assist all of our members in community work, events, connecting members and much more. They make our jobs much easier and are a pleasure to work with. Finally, I would say to all of you who are currently members and those considering membership - GET INVOLVED. It is like anything you do, the more you give, the more you get.
